Julia Ormond

JuliaOrmond was the daughter Josephine who was a lab technician and John Ormond (a stockbroker) who lived in Epsom, Surrey. Ormond is the second of five children to her parents. In the beginning, she was a student at Guildford High School and then Cranleigh School. There, her early lead performances in Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady were noticed. After one year of art college, she transferred to Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She graduated in 1988. Ormond made her debut appearance on British television's 1989 serial Traffik. It was about illegal heroin trade between far East and the streets of Europe. Ormond played the addict child of the main character, a Home Office minister working to fight heroin imports. This first appearance earned him rave reviews.
