Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986, in Hereford, England) is an English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop style after she drew the public's attention through her hit songs "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary artist due to her soprano voice, and her talent in making songs that are catchy and emotional. She's akin with Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other musicians of the same ilk. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major contract. Her debut album was scheduled for release.
