Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family to have lived in Atlanta. The story started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Early on, her father became interested in theater. He performed on the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions around Atlanta. Following his air force service, in 1953 he appeared in an air force production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple got married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed themselves. Later that year they founded the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
