Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. In the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games and was also the first gymnast to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone became interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years, under the direction of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was a winner in the vault and floor exercise at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in 2011. Less than two years later she dominated the sport. Her consistency, her vivacious personality and the level of challenge in her four events -vault uneven bars, balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- made her above the others.
